Katherine Bodkin
Hometown: Lansing, MI
College of Literature, Science, & Arts
Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience major, Pre-med

As Secretary, Katherine is in charge of keeping meeting records and overseeing Society-wide communications, especially the Society’s bimonthly newsletter, The Foghorn, as well as managing the Shipman Website. On campus Katherine is a member of several premed clubs such as FIMRC, VAW, and the Red Cross. She also is actively working to complete her EMT certification. In her free time, Katherine loves to read, go on runs around campus, and try out all the amazing restaurants in A2.


Arthi Narayanan
Hometown: Rochester Hills, MI

Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and German double major, Pre-med

As Treasurer, Arthi manages the Society’s funds and finances our social activities. Arthi also plays both the piano and clarinet, is incredibly talented at crocheting (scarfs, sweaters, etc.), and loves to cook. In her free time, she also enjoys sleeping, listening to music, and getting bubble tea with friends! She also really, really wants a pet bird.


Chinwe Onwere
Hometown: Ohio

Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major, Environmental minor

As Community Outreach Chair, Chinwe runs the Shipman Society’s volunteer efforts in and around the Ann Arbor communities. On campus, Chinwe is involved in writing for the Statement, which is the magazine of the Michigan Daily, research through UROP with Dr. Lama’s lab, and a part of M-Stem! She also loves trying new foods, going on walks, and traveling.


Hannah Bernardi
Hometown: Macomb, MI
College of Engineering
Engineering

On campus Hannah is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, College of Engineering Peer Mentorship program, Zeta Tau Alpha, and the Social Tennis Club. Additionally, Hannah playing guitar, baking, and hanging out with friends and family (and her guinea pig Leo!)


Brady Nichols
Hometown: Grandville, MI

Brady is involved with M-etrics, Michigan Basketball Analytics Association, Michigan Christian Journal, and Spanish Club. Additionally, Brady likes to read, attends church on campus, do crosswords, and is well known for providing sage advice to other Shippeople.


Ben Neumaier

Computer Science major, Art and Design minor

Ben is a member of ADT, a design professional fraternity on campus and skate club. In his free time, Ben likes to design things on photoshop, illustrate, and loves to skateboard.


Quinn Smith
Hometown: Rochester Hills, MI

Art and Design and UX Design majors, Digital Studies minor

Quinn is heavily involved with STAMPS and art around the A2 area. In her free time, she loves to read and draw. She also loves to get boba with her friends (shoutout to the ship girlies! <3)


Lindy Bujak
Hometown: Grand Rapids, MI

On campus, Lindy is a member of the Michigan Undergraduate Students of Statistics Club. Additionally, she enjoys playing minecraft, listening ton music, reading, writing, snowboarding, and trips to Chicago. She also plays the violin.

Deborah is involved with Enactus Consulting Group, Cooking to Connect Club, and LEAD Scholarship Program. In her free time, she also loves to listen to music, play volleyball, and cook!


Max Duer

Max is involved with Maize club soccer, is a member of Delta Sigma Phi, and participates in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). In his free time, Max also enjoys working out, playing sports, reading, and cooking.

Erin Scheske

Erin is a member of the University of Michigan club synchronized ice skating team, Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and volunteers at the Maize and Blue Cupboard. In her free time, she likes to ice skate, walk her dog, and hang out with her friends!


Sydney Ng

On campus, Sydney is involved in club water polo and is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. In her free time, she loves to spend time with friends and family, hiking, trying new foods, and any pool related sport!
